Theatre Private Lessons
Private Acting Lessons
1, 5, or 10 sessions at a time
STUDENTS IN 8TH GRADE THROUGH ADULT
With Bridget Beirne
Private acting lessons are focused on respect, kindness, and mindfulness, for ourselves and others. This is a peaceful, calm, inclusive, supportive, challenging (in a good way!), nurturing, and fun place to learn about acting and grow in the craft. Actors of all levels of study are welcome, whether you have educational, amateur, or professional goals. I will meet you where you are in terms of experience and find YOUR specific path for growth.
Lessons will be led by student interests, needs, and goals, and may focus on any or all of the following:
- General acting technique development
- Audition prep and process for any production: professional, amateur, or educational
- College auditions (Choosing material, performance of material, audition process)
- Song interpretation (Develop your ability to “act your song” and tell the story of the character)
- Exploration of new material or building your “rep”
- Growth of confidence in front of audiences
- Stronger vocal production in speech
- Care for the artist doing the acting
- New creative outlets for artistic expression
- What the student wants to work on acting-wise!
