Kaeleen Fallon
Tap
Kaeleen started dancing at the age of three and grew up dancing right outside of Manhattan. She trained in the Royal Academy of Dance and started performing professionally by the age of 11. Kaeleen has trained, performed, and danced with the New York City Ballet (NYCB) & the Radio City Rockettes. Additionally, she has performed in various other shows, including; 42nd Street, West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, and many more. She has been able to perform and dance on some of the most iconic stages in the world, such as; Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden.
Kaeleen also trained in Ballroom with Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) Pros Maks and Val Chmerkoviy, Tony Dovolani, Louis Van Amstel, and more. Kaeleen has danced, performed, and taught various styles of dance, such as; Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Precision Dance, Ballroom, Pointe, Musical Theatre, and more. Kaeleen is thrilled the be a part of the MoCo Arts team and to continue her passion to perform and dance as well as share her wisdom, knowledge, and passion with our community’s children and families.
Katie Roark
Ballet
Katie (Paquin) Roark began dancing with Festival Ballet Providence at the age of 4 and continued her training as a student there, eventually becoming a member of Festival Ballet’s Junior Company. She performed many ballets with the company including Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, Don Quixote and The Nutcracker. She received her BA in Psychology and Dance from Rhode Island College where she was a member of RIC’s dance company and was chosen to be the recipient of the Helen Forman Special Talent full scholarship.
Katie began her professional career in 2010 with Providence Ballet Theatre and has also danced professionally with Cambridge Dance Company, Sasso and Company, and City Ballet of Boston. She has taught extensively both in Rhode Island and Boston and choreographed at Rhode Island College, Providence College, Providence Ballet, Cambridge Dance Company, and in collaboration with the New York Mandolin Ensemble. She presented her work at the 2012 Perceptions Dance Festival in New York City and the 2014 Boston Contemporary Dance Festival. She received her Masters of Education in Counseling from Providence College and is currently working in Financial Aid at a college.
Emily Alexander
Hip Hop
Emily grew up in Keene, NH where she has been dancing since the age of 4 years old. She spent the majority of her dance training learning and studying at MoCo Arts. She went on to coordinate and choreograph for the SUNY Plattsburgh Dance Corps Team where she completed her undergraduate degree from 2013-2017. Emily returned to MoCo as a teacher in 2019, and enjoys sharing her love of hip-hop and performing with her students by creating a safe and energetic learning environment for everyone.
Emily completed her bachelor’s of psychology from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2017, the Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner certification in 2019, and her Masters of Education in Health Education and Promotion – Eating Disorders in 2021. Emily is grateful to be able to share her passion for dance with our community’s kids and families.
Audrey Douglass-Fish
Tap
Audrey Douglass-Fish has been dancing at MoCo Arts since she was 5 years old, studying Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, and Modern through their dance programs. Her passion for teaching grew when she began assistant teaching dance under Danielle Fitzpatrick at the age of 11. The performing arts have always been a significant part of her life and she is excited to share her love and joy of dance with young learners!
Taylor Shea
Hip Hop
Taylor graduated from Franklin Pierce University with a BA in Creative Dance Therapy. She has taught Hip Hip classes since she was 16 years old and continues to pursue her passion in dance education. She continued her studies, living in Lyon France.
Taylor danced professionally with Accendo Dance company for over over 5 years. Following those years, she worked as co-owner of Full Motion Dance Theatre, participating in performances at the Jaffrey Riverfest, Peterborough Players, Alvin Ailey Studios, and Boston Ballet School. Along with dance instructing in Peterborough and in Keene, Taylor continued her education by joining Weather Makers Company.
She has background in Hip Hop as well as Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, and Contemporary dance. Taylor loves to dance and aspires for personal growth and education for all who want to dance. She is very proud and grateful to be teaching at MoCo.
Tasha Warshaw
Modern, Ballet, Jazz
Tasha began her journey with dance at a young age. She grew up training at MoCo Arts. In 2013, Tasha began teaching for MoCo Arts and in 2014, she joined the faculty of NHDI and IBIT Dance Company’s pre professional training program. Since then, she’s had the pleasure of working with Adrienne Hawkins, Bill Bob Brown, Donlin Foreman and other New England based choreographers.
Tasha has a strong passion for choreography and has shown her work at Southern Vermont Dance Festival, the Dance Complex and the American Repertory Theater. Tasha finds great joy in sharing her love and knowledge of dance with her students. She strongly believes that dance should always be available to those who desire it, regardless of ability or economic background.
Tracy Grissom
Modern Dance
Tracy grew up in Louisiana where she started dancing ballet at age 3 with Joan Kathey studying the Cecchetti method. As a young dancer, she trained at summer intensives, which included the International Ballet Competition, Jackson, MS, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Carlisle, PA, Nashville Ballet, Nashville, TN, and spent two summers at the Joffrey Ballet, New York City, NY.
While in her undergraduate studies at Centenary College of Louisiana, she discovered her love for modern dance. She earned a BA in Dance from Centenary College, 2010, where she was a member of Escaped Images Dance Company and as a student her choreography was chosen two years in a row to represent Centenary College at the American College Dance Festival.
Tracy earned her Pilates Mat certification through BASI Pilates, in Costa Mesa, CA, 2008. She moved to Keene in 2010 to attend Antioch University where she earned a MA in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling, 2013. In July 2022, she completed Simonson Method Teacher Training in New York, NY under the instruction of Teresa Perez Ceccon and in June 2024 Tracy attended Sadhana Yoga School in Keene, NH and completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Traiing Program certifying her to teach traditional Eight-Limbed Path of Ashtangha Yoga, Hatha Flow, Vinyasa Flow, Pranayama, and Meditation. She lives in Keene with her family and her two dogs and she loves teaching and inspiring young dancers to trust themselves and to take healthy risks through movement and creative expression.
Danielle Fitzpatrick
Ballet
Danielle Fitzpatrick, MA BC-DMT has been teaching dance and theatre to people of all ages throughout the tri-state area for more than two decades. She moved to Keene so that she could pursue a Master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy at Antioch University, where she is now adjunct faculty in their graduate program. She has taught creative dance, children’s theatre, ballet, adaptive dance technique, and dance/movement therapy courses in studio settings, classrooms, preschools, workshops, and at the undergraduate and graduate level.
In addition to teaching dance, Danielle is a Board-Certified dance/movement therapist specializing in using dance with elders with neurocognitive disease. Danielle serves as a Chair on the Board of the American Dance Therapy Association. At MoCo Arts, Danielle is the Director of Young Arts, where she uses her extensive knowledge of child development to support our youngest artists in dance, theatre, and camps. Danielle enjoys writing original plays to be performed by the students at MoCo Arts. When she is not sharing her love of dancing with others, Danielle enjoys raising her two daughters.
Reagan Messer
Executive Director and Artistic Director of Dance
Reagan Messer is currently the Executive Director/Artistic Director of Dance for MoCo Arts in Keene, NH. Reagan is a native of Atlanta and former Boston Ballet Soloist. He has also danced as a guest artist throughout the United States, South America and New Zealand.
He has performed principal and soloist roles in Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, La Bayadere, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet, Le Corsaire, The Nutcracker, Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Winter Dreams, Michael Pink’s Hunchback of Notre Dame, Stanton Welch’s Madame Butterfly, Bruce Well’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Twyla Tharp’s In the Upper Room, Paul Taylor’s Company B, Agnes De Mille’s Rodeo, Lila York’s Celts and numerous ballets by George Balanchine. He also served as Ballet Master for Boston Ballet II from 2000 to 2002, which included directing and coaching the young dancers through their rehearsal and performance season.
In 1993, Reagan toured Brazil with Fernando Bujones and Friends where he danced Don Quixote Pas de Deux and Gopak. In 1994, he was a finalist at the International Ballet Competition in Jackson, MS. In 1995 and 1996, he directed and produced the International Ballet Gala in Atlanta, Georgia featuring artists from Boston Ballet and the Royal Ballet of London. He also directed Ballet Galas in Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and Vermont. Before his ballet career, Reagan’s focus was in the jazz and tap world where he worked with legendary performers Smokey Robinson, David Hasselhoff, Issac Hayes, Ruth Buzzi, Rita Moreno, Carol Lawrence, Director John Landis as well as dancing at Walt Disney World.
Besides his current role at MoCo Arts, Reagan is an Artistic Advisor for the North Atlanta Dance Theatre and served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for North Atlanta Dance Theatre. He also served as a founding board member for Keene Housing Kids Collaborative. Reagan lives with his wife and two daughters in Keene.
Maria McGovern
Ballet
Maria McGovern graduated summa cum laude from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA in May 2023 with a degree in Quantitative Economics and a Ballet Certificate (earned in conjunction with the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet). Maria trained at the Radomile Academy of Dance and the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet, and she attended three summer intensives at the Central Pennsylvania youth Ballet.
Although Maria grew up outside of Philadelphia, she has been spending her summers in Nelson since she was two. She was introduced to dance and theatre through NHDI’s summer intensive and MoCo Arts’ C.A.K.E. (Creative Arts at Keene) summer camp. Once she was old enough, Maria served as a CIT, councelor, and teacher in both programs, and she has spent five summers on the C.A.K.E. staff where she has adored being a dance instructor. For the past two years, Maria has choreographed the C.A.K.E. musical and taught for CupCAKE. Maria is thrilled to join the MoCo year-long staff!
Lucia Messer
Hip Hop
Lucia has been immersed in the dance world her entire life, growing up in a dance family. She began her journey at MoCo Arts at the age of 3, studying ballet, pointe, hip hop, modern, jazz, and tap. Dance has always been in her blood, and she dreamed of becoming a dance teacher from an early age. Growing up in the studio has given Lucia a deep understanding of the dedication and joy that dance brings, making her a relatable and inspirational mentor for her students, guiding them with empathy and encouragment. Lucia is passionate about giving back to the next generation of dancers. She loves spedning time in the studio, nuturing a love for dance the arts among MoCo Arts’ young dancers.
Zoe Barnes
Ballet, Modern, Jazz
Zoe Barnes grew up within the MoCo Arts community. The training she received at MoCo afforded her the opportunity to attend the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for both high school and college. After receiving her BFA in Modern Dance in 2014, Zoe relocated to NYC. There, she worked as a freelance artist and artist in residency throughout many Brooklyn elementary schools. In 2022, Zoe graduated with honors in her MA in Dance Education from the Arnhold Graduate Dance Education Program at Hunter College. Zoe moved back to NH in 2023 and is elated to share her innate zeal for kinectic expression with all the lovely students and families at MoCo Arts.
Katie Kendall
Costuming – Dance
Katie lives in Keene NH with her husband Gordon and daughter Ava. She works at American Family Group as an IT Support Manager. As her daughter’s love of dance grew their family’s dedication in supporting MoCo grew brinigng Katie to the Dance Costume Team in 2021. Katie loves to be behind the scenes supporting our amazing organization and bringing teacher’s visions to life with beautiful and fun costumes.
Heather Carlson
Costuming – Dance
Heather Carlson moved to Keene in 2013 with her husband greg and three children. She joined the costume team in 2023 as her youngest daughter got more involved in classes. Although sewing is just a hobby for her, she is thrilled to be able to give back in this way to MoCo Arts who has given so much to her own children and those in the community.
