Young Voice Workshop
Wednesday, April 30, May 7, 14, and 21 from 4-5 p.m.
Students in grade 3 – 5
With JoJo Mead
MoCo Arts is offering a Young Voice Workshop with JoJo Mead on Wednesday, April 30, May 7, 14, and 21 from 4-5 p.m. for kids in grades 3 through 5, $75 per student for all four classes. The class will take place in Wildwood Studio.
Join vocal coach JoJo Mead and learn all about your voice and how to use it for musicals or singing your favorite songs! Learn the fundamentals of how to sing, how to take care of your voice, and how to make your voice stronger—all while building confidence. This fun class will allow you to try different styles of vocal music appropriate for young, unchanged voices. This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in musical theatre or solo singing.
This workshop will culminate with a showcase on 5/21 at 4:40 p.m. with a 15-minute presentation of the work from the Young Voice Workshop.

Prop Making for Theatre Workshop
Saturday, May 17 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Students in 6th grade or above

Discover the art of bringing a show to life through props! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the basics of prop construction, painting, and creative problem-solving using common materials. Whether it’s a realistic food item, an aged book, or a magical object, we’ll explore techniques to make props look great on stage while staying durable and functional for performances. No prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity!
When: Saturday, May 17 | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cost: $75 to drop in
