The decision to designate a planned gift is one of the most meaningful commitments you can make and helps ensure that future generations of your family and community have MoCo Arts to enrich their lives.

A charitable bequest is a gift that is designated in a will or trust to be given to a group, individual, or organization, such as MoCo Arts.
Gifts of appreciated stock are an alternative to cash that may offer attractive tax benefits. In many instances, the donor avoids capital gains tax and can deduct the entire current value of the gift as a charitable contribution.
A charitable gift annuity (CGA) is an agreement where a donor makes a gift to MoCo Arts using cash, securities, or possibly other assets. In return, they become eligible to take a partial tax deduction for their donation, plus they receive a fixed stream of income from MoCo Arts for their lifetime.
A deferred charitable gift annuity (DCGA) offers you the opportunity to claim a charitable deduction in the year of your gift to MoCo Arts but receive payments at a later time. Payments can start on a date you choose which is at least one year after you make the gift.
Donors who wish to make a planned gift should always check with their legal or financial advisors. We will, of course, keep your commitment confidential.
