People often ask us how they can support MoCo Arts? The most effective way you can help MoCo is to donate. Like most nonprofit dance and theatre organizations nationwide, tuition and ticket sales only account for a portion of income needs, in our case approximately 60%, so every gift made to MoCo Arts is deeply appreciated. Donors truly are vital to continue to make MoCo affordable, to help MoCo remain a place where all students are welcome and to invite more people to experience, enjoy and participate in the arts.
By making a gift, you join our growing family of individuals, businesses and foundations who generously contribute to our annual fund. Your gift will help to support this meaningful organization, enabling us to continue to offer over 150 classes and over 10 productions annually, provide tuition assistance and to build our theatre and dance education and community programs. Donors are recognized in printed and electronic material, unless there is a stated preference to remain “anonymous.”
Consider becoming a “Curtain Raiser”
Become a member of an elite group who play a key role in the MoCo transformative experience, Curtain Raisers support MoCo students each and every time they walk on stage. By underwriting and contributing to our productions for $250 or more, you join other audience members in applauding our students and encouraging their efforts. Performance expenses each year total almost $100,000, to pay for theatre space rental, royalties, costuming and tech. Your gift of $250> is equivalent to a standing ovation for each and every child on stage. Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of the transformation!

Many businesses offer Employee Matching Gifts programs and will make matching contributions to MoCo. All gifts are tax deductible and will be acknowledged with a letter sent through the US mail.

Do you have experience finding grants for nonprofit organizations? We are always pursuing new grant opportunities and would welcome your input.

Do you have electronics? Are you a plumber? Do you have a green thumb? MoCo is fortunate to own the facility on Railroad Street, but in an aging facility that welcomes 2,000+ students a year, the building and grounds are in need of constant upkeep. We occasionally need professionals to help us with maintenance issues. MoCo’s current “wish list” includes:
