Congratulations to the cast and crew of ‘The Velveteen Rabbit’ for two wonderful performances! Thank you to the students, families, staff, volunteers, audience members, donors, and sponsors who helped make this experience possible for the kids.

It’s Christmas time when a small boy receives a stuffed rabbit sewn from velveteen. The boy plays with his other new toys and quickly forgets about the poor velveteen rabbit. The old and wise Skin Horse toy tells the rabbit to be patient, the boy will soon love him and make him real. When the boy become ill the velveteen rabbit stays by his side, and they go on wondrous, swashbuckling adventure at sea.

Based on the heart-warming story by Margery Williams, The Velveteen Rabbit. is performed by MoCo Arts students 2nd – 6th grade and features familiar characters such as Raggedy Anne, Tin Soldier, Robot, and Jack-in-the Box.
