WEB_MoCo_Wild-SwansKeene, NH (April 11, 2016) – In a faraway kingdom, a bewitching spell turns eleven princes into swans, leaving the Princess, Eliza to save them in the MoCo Arts premier of The Wild Swans, Saturday, April 30 at 7:00pm, and Sunday, May 1 at 2:00pm at the Redfern Arts Center at Keene State College.

“Audience members can expect something wonderful and unique,” says Emma Mae Cummings, MoCo Arts student and Keene High senior playing the lead role of Eliza. “There’s magic, love, intense emotions, striking costumes, and beautiful music.”

In this original adaptation by Patricia Lindberg, Professor of Education and Integrated Arts at Plymouth State University, The Wild Swans follows Eliza as she embarks on a magical quest to save her brothers. The beauty of Hans Christian Andersen’s story, coupled by the marvelous music by Will Ogmundson, and the beautiful dancing integrated throughout the production make The Wild Swans a fairy tale journey that will engage and enthrall young and old alike.
