What is MoCo Arts?
MoCo Arts is a 30+ year old non-profit arts organization offering classes in dance and theatre for students ages 6 months through 18+ years and multi-arts vacation and summer camps for kids ages 4 through grade 12. MoCo’s mission is to Transforming Lives Through Movement and Creative Expression.

What does MoCo mean?
When MoCo Arts opened in 1991, it was known as The Moving Company Dance Center. Over time, MoCo began to offer more than just dance, with classes in theatre, yoga, multi-arts camps, and adult dance. Students were referring to The Moving Company as MoCo for short. MoCo decided to change its name to reflect more of what it offers, hence MoCo Arts!

In the case of inclement weather, MoCo Arts will announce by 7:00 a.m. the status of morning classes and by 1:00 p.m. the status of afternoon/evening classes. Cancellation of area schools does NOT mean classes are canceled. If classes are canceled, it will be on MoCo Arts answering machine (603-357-2100), website moco.org/parents-page, MoCo’s Facebook page, and on radio stations WKNE, WINQ, and WKBK as well as the WKNE website. Cancellation emails are sent out to the email listed on the student registration form, and optional text alerts are available by signing up on the student registration form. We do NOT contact students individually when canceling for inclement weather. We ask that you exercise judgment when making decisions to attend classes in stormy weather.
