Congratulations to the winners of the 2016 Ewing Arts Award, celebrating the diversity and excellence of artists in the Monadnock Region.
MoCo is proud to have one teacher and three students receiving an award. Cassandra Tobey has been a teacher/choreographer at MoCo Arts since 2007. She teaches Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop, and choreographs for these classes in many MoCo performances. Cassandra is receiving the Ewing Arts Award for her exceptional choreography. Leeann Minard, May Minard, and Maude Warshaw are student dancers at MoCo Arts. They have been dancing for many years at MoCo and recently choreographed an original piece together for The Young Choreographer’s Showcase in March. They are receiving a Student Artist Ewing Arts Award for their dancing and choreography.
There is a reception for the winners on Thursday, July 21 at 5:30pm at the Redfern Arts Center at Keene State College. Tickets to this event are $30 general admission, $10 for students.
