About MoCo Arts
MoCo Arts Identity
MoCo Arts is a 20+ year old family-centered nonprofit arts education organization in downtown Keene, offering classes in dance, theatre and multi-arts camps for children ages 18 months to 18 years+. Under the direction of our highly-regarded, experienced artistic staff, MoCo Arts provides an inclusive, nurturing, supportive atmosphere designed to enrich the lives of our students as well as the collective life of our community. As part of the education process, MoCo Arts provides professional performance experience for our students and family-friendly entertainment for audiences of all ages at our Black Box Theatre on Railroad Street as well as other stages, including The Redfern Arts Center at Keene State College and the Colonial Theatre. We welcome all students where they are in their movement and creative arts journey – beginners through advanced. Tuition assistance is available as part of our commitment to remain accessible. Location and Parking
MoCo Arts is located at
76 Railroad St.
Keene, NH 03431
Unfortunately, MoCo does not have a parking lot for drop-off or pick-up, instead, students can be picked up or dropped off in front of MoCo on the sidewalk along Railroad Street, or at one of the many free and metered spots along Railroad Street.
MoCo values our relationships with area businesses and organizations. Parking lots designated for the Courtyard by Marriott, Monadnock Family Services, the Salvation Army, Monadnock Developmental Services and other area businesses on Community Way are reserved for those businesses and their patrons, they retain the right to tow any violators. While unmarked, the dirt lot on 93rd Street belongs to MFS and cannot be used during business hours. MFS kindly allows MoCo families to use their parking lots on 93rd Street after 5:30pm on weekdays and all day on Saturdays only.
We ask all drivers to respect the rules of the road and not idle or park along the street in front of MoCo. If your child isn’t ready to be picked up when you arrive, free/metered parking spots are available along Railroad Street to park while you wait.
We understand that for many families a drop-off may take a few minutes to walk a young child into the building, and we encourage all parents/caregivers to continue to keep the child’s safety as their first priority.
